AttractMore have been working with Susan Carr in Leeds over a number of years and we have created a couple of websites for her to help promote the services she offers to clients. She recently asked us to create a new site which focused on her work as a psychotherapist and counsellor. The colour scheme was already determined, as was the layout for wider screens since these were carried over from one of Susan’s earlier sites. The challenge here was to create a fully responsive site that worked well on smaller screens as well as larger ones.

Japlene dressmakers recently engaged us to produce a new website for them to replace an old, out-dated site that had been in place for several years. Japlene are based in Headington and create a range of bespoke dresses for all types of special occasions including weddings, christenings, parties etc. Read about how we approached this project and delivered a successful result.

Choosing images for your website or blog is not always straightforward and requires proper consideration. After all, images on a web page are not just decoration; they create a mood or atmosphere and provide visual interest which breaks up the text content of the page. They are an integral part of every page and can draw readers into your content if the images are chosen well. In this post I want to make some suggestions about image choice, image placement and finding good imagery.

Just over a month ago now, we launched a new web site for Alison Plant, an experienced Pilates instructor in Leeds. As you would expect, the web site looks great and works well on screens of all sizes, from larger desktop monitors to mobile smartphones.

This week we have launched a new website – it’s the latest version of the site for Sue Heron who is an artist based in Huddersfield. Sue specialises in painting landscapes, people and animals. This is the second website we have created for Sue and in this new version, Sue was keen to change the background colour to black so as to make the artwork stand out more from the page. The design has been simplified so as to place the focus firmly on the paintings and there is very little colour on the site other than that provided by the artworks.
